CARE'S World Hunger Campaign

Here are some facts about hunger as reported by CARE.

Every minute of every day, somewhere in the world, 21 children die of malnutrition and preventable diseases.

More than 840,000,000 people in the world are malnurished.

6,000,000 children under the age of 5 die every year as a result of hunger.

28 cents is all it takes to provide a nutritious meal for a hungry child.

CARE uses 90% of the money it receives in donations to it's hunger campaign to feed the hungry. Only 10% goes to administration.
