I was excited to find out what Paula Deen's favorite recipe was. We met her several years ago, before
her cooking show was on the air, at her Savannah restaurant, The Lady and Sons. Her response "letter" is a sticky
note stuck on the recipe itself, sent from her staff.

Nobel Peace Prize recipient in 2002.

Claudia "Lady Bird" Johnson was First Lady of the United States from 1963-1969. She was the wife of President
Lyndon B. Johnson. She was an advocate for the beautification of the nation's cities and Highways and conservation of natural
resources. Later in life, she became an entrepreneur and created the $150 million LBJ Holdings Company. She was a recipient
of the Presidential Medal of Freedom, and the Congressional Gold Medal, the highest civilian honors.

Art Agnos was the 39th Mayor of San Francisco. He was in office from January 8, 1988- January 7, 1992. He
was author of major legislation confronting AIDS, and arranged for a Joint Legislative Session on the AIDS Epidemic, the first
such session in the nation.
On December 13, 1973, prior to being Mayor, and while he was a member of the California Commission on
Aging, he was at a meeting discussing a government-funded health clinic. Upon leaving, he was shot twice at point blank range.
Agnos became one of two victims that day in what became known as the Zebra murders. He survived despite critical injuries.

Albert II, Sovereign Prince of Monaco, son of Prince Rainier III and Grace, Princess of Monaco. This was
sent to Josh while Prince Rainier was still Prince of Monaco.

President Agatha Barbara was the first, and so far, the only female President of Malta. She was also the
first woman elected to the Maltesse parliament. She served in the Parliament between 1947 and 1981, by which time she had
won ten consecutive elections. She was also Education Minister for the Labour Party from 1955 to 1958. She is responsible
for instituting compulsory full time education for Maltese children. She died in 2002.

Ovide William Mercredi is an Aboriginal Canadian Politician. He is Cree, and was National Chief of the Assembly
of First Nations between 1991- 1997.

This was from President George H W Bush. At the time Josh was writing to him, he was then the sitting President.
He held many high level positions for our country. He was Ambassador to th United Nations, Chairman of the Republican National
Committee, Chief of the US Liason Office of the People's Republic of China, Director of th CIA, Vice President for the Reagan
administration, and our 41st President.

Senator Ted Kennedy is a Senior Senator from Massachusetts, brother to President John F. Kennedy, and Senator
Robert Kennedy. Senator Kennedy assumed office on November 6, 1962. He was the 16th US Senate Majority Whip. He is the Chairman
of the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee, and he serves on the Judiciary Committee.

Senator Jesse Helms is a former five-term Republican U.S. Senator from North Carolina. He is also a former
chairman of the Senate Foriegn Relations Committee.

William Franklin Graham, better known as the Reverend Billy Graham, is an evangelist and as Evangelical
Christian. He has been spiritual advisor to many U.S. presidents. He also showed up on Gallup's list as number seven for admired
people of the 20th century.

wrote and executive produced Flatliners; wrote The Craft,
TNT's Salem's Lot, and an episode of Nightmares
and Dreamscapes. He has also adapted Stephen King's It,
and Clive Barker's Cold Heart Canyon, among others. Claudia Grazioso wrote Are We

An Elephant's Tale to name a few.
